Dear X,

Today I'm writing you this because I just realized that it's all unfair, all of this, everything. I've long thought about sending you a letter, even though I'm no writer, but I want to express how much I ''feel'' you and how much I support you even if it's just ''at heart''. I'm a medstudent, who has always being wronged all her life. This year was my 4th, when I was in pediatrics for two months I understood how hard it is. I thought that it would be the easiest ''department'', but it wasn't. I understood that not everyone can be a pediatrist, let alone a surgeon. I had a 6 years old patient who had '' une paralysie du nerf III '' and she was so nervous, anxious.. It took me a week to get close to her, and almost 2 weeks to examine her. During her stay I once went to a resident and told her that she needs to see a ''pédopsychiatre'' but the resident answered me : ''hadik khassha l3ssa". I was.. Shocked? Not because after reading a whole book about psychanalysis about kids before going to peds or talking about this and hearing such an answer, not because I've long being interested in psychiatry, and just mental health in general. No, it was because I realized there are just people out there who don't - I dare say- ''derserve'' the place where they are.. I'm sad to say this, but I had to say it.. Perhaps you will understand me. I shed tears for a long time, and tonight again I'm shedding tears.. For you, for all the people who are wronged, for all the people who are not understood. For the people who are doing their very best everyday and are not giving up.

I am sure you hear this on a daily basis, but you inspire me a lot. I never thought I would even have the courage one day to send you this, but here I am. I want to tell you not to give up, because there are a lot of people out there fighting in silence, and there are people like me who -for some reasons- don't even have the right to talk…

I also want to tell you that you perhaps saved another life today. A few days ago all I could think about was leaving this world, not just this country. Giving up on my life.. Because I'm exhausted, and I'm sure that it's only going to get harder because of the person I am, the person I will be (or could be). But I decided I would keep fighting just like you, for all of the weak people, for the poor people, for the wronged people! Allah y3awnek and Allah y3awn everyone who is suffering and fighting. It will all get better inchaallah
